Matthew N. Metz, Principal

Matthew Metz founded Metz Law Group, PLLC in 2001. He is a Seattle based attorney who represents individuals and businesses in complex civil litigation cases, and in business and real estate transactions.
Matthew combines sensitivity to his clients needs with zealous advocacy for their legal rights. A lawyer since 1991, Matthew is a graduate of the University of Chicago, and the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. He is fluent in Spanish and French. He is licensed to practice in Washington State and California. He has appeared before numerous State and Federal Courts in Washington, California, and New York, including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He recently helped make Washington case law with his succesful advocacy in a published decision in the Washington State Court of Appeals. He is also a licensed Washington State Real Estate Broker.
Prior to starting Metz Law Group, PLLC, he worked as a litigator with California and Seattle law firms, served as general counsel to a large California non-profit organization, and co-founded the Central Area Development Association, a leading Seattle community development corporation.
He is immediate past President of the United Nations Association, Seattle Chapter.

Luz Dary Metz, Of Counsel

Luz Dary Metz is a lawyer licensed in Colombia. She coordinates international legal matters, and also assists domestic clients with immigration and other civil matters. Luz Dary is studying to be a Washington State lawyer through the law clerk program.

Patricia Seifert, Paralegal

Patricia was born and raised in Renton, Washington. She attended Highline Community College where she graduated with honors with an AS and a Paralegal Certificate in June, 2008.
She held a managerial position at her local grocery store, and was eventually promoted to division trainer. After working in the grocery business for more than ten years, she put herself through school and joined the Metz Law Group, PLLC in May, 2008.
Patricia has been happily married since September, 2008 and enjoys spending time with her family.
